Warning: This is a blog that lacks intellectuality. My levels of IQ stand as lofty as that of Paris Hilton's pet pomeranian and my knowledge of current affairs is as deep as Mandira Bedi's of cricket. I mostly ramble about the trivialities of my everyday life, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, friends n family, movies, cricket; basically thoughts that would enter the mind of any Sita, Gita or Rita.

Note: I was busy drooling over the pages of Playboy during my English classes in school. So please bare with any grammatical blunders or the obvious lack of classic literary writing. (I was a little confused between the selection of 'bear' and 'bare' in the sentence above so I resorted to my favorite inky-pinky-ponky routine)

If you happen to pass by, feel free to register your presence. coz yeh duniya bahot chhoti hai aur yeh zindagi bahot lambi. Kya pata, someday somewhere, you and I might end up discussing about it over a cup of garam garam masala tea.

The 3 mistakes of my weekend

Mistake #1: Spent 95 bucks and bought the book.

Mistake #2: Continued reading the book even after the first 100 pages.

Mistake #3: Finished the entire book.

5 point someone was good fun to read, One night @ a call centre failed to impress, and this one has disappointed.

Yes that is true. Mass marketing strategy is damn good.

Oh heck. I wan't even much impressed by 5-pointless-every-page. And it wasn't that I didn't like it it cos I spent money on it. It was my roommate's.

I always kept waiting for something to happen. Nothing did, except unfolding of cliche after cliche. Niether was the language or the depth of writing really involving. It was like someone wrote 'muddon-pe-se-kahani-likhiye' in their language exam.
In fact I was kinda gripped more by a 'Ramprasad Raisya' story a blogger named 'Crimson feet' wrote on his blog.

Maybe it wasn't the book's fault. It was competing with Shantaram, one that-time-latest book by Rushdie (forgot name) and a book on real events of the Bombay Bomb Blasts of the 90s (forgot the year)that I was reading at that time.

If the book quality is in descending order, so glad I haven't read the other two.

By the way, read all books of the series of 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. One PJ every 10 lines.
(If you get the joke that is)

This is what me and a friend were discussing. I had read 5-poiont-someone when I was a newbie reader and probably found it likeable coz I was not too mature as a reader.

I had bought the 3 mistakes primarily coz it said that it also features cricket. Disappointed big time there.

Just finished reading Jhumpa Lahiri's Interpreter of Maladies. Far far better than 3 mistakes. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy would be fun to read yaar.. Lemme see..

I hope CB also learns from apni galtiyan.
Or maybe he should just put up his stories on a blog instead of publishing a book. :)

Read Book1, didn't like it.
Still, was vella and Book2 was in the library, so read it, didn't like it.
Will not buy Book3 and maybe will not read it for free.
