Friend: You know I end up buying a lot of shoes.

Me: Thats cool. If you like something, just buy it. That's what I believe in.

Friend: But I have a lot of shoes and footwear.

Me: Hmm. How many?

Friend: ##

Me: 17!

Friend: 70

Me: 70! Oh. You mean in your entire lifetime

Friend: No. Currently.

Me: (Of course I could not respond immediately. That is too much data even for a guy.)

Friend: But I don't think 70 can be called the correct number. There are a few that I no longer wear - about 5 of them. (pause) So how many pairs do you have?

Me: 5

    its like we girls are by default, shop-o-holics and then most of us are keep-o-holics (hate to throw out) as well..so that should be enough reason to justify our wardrobe i guess :D :D

    haha...I can relate to ur friend... I loove shoes.. but sadly I cant wear anything but sports shoes ... cause the pretty ones feed on my feet .. yet I have an alarmingly growing collection of never to be worn shoes .... siiigh
